What a PAN application costs.
These are the official fees set by the Income Tax Department. The price depends on whether the application is paper-based or digital, and on whether the customer wants a physical PAN card or an e-PAN only. They are separate from the ₹1,180 agent registration fee.

UTI offers two kinds of PSA ID. They differ in how each PAN application is paid for.
Coupon-based ID
The agent buys coupons, and each PAN application uses one coupon. SiOnline does not provide this type.
Wallet-based ID: what SiOnline provides
The agent loads a wallet, and each PAN application is deducted from the wallet balance. You log in to the SiOnline portal, which is connected to the UTI portal.

Two things every new PSA agent asks within a week.

- "I can log in but cannot submit." Check your wallet balance first. Each PAN application is deducted from it.
- "My password stopped working." You log in to the SiOnline portal, so reset it there with the forgot-password link. You never log in to UTI directly.

What is a UTI PSA PAN card agent?
A PAN Service Agent (PSA) is an authorised intermediary who submits PAN applications on behalf of customers. UTIITSL appoints PSAs through authorised channel partners rather than taking direct applications, which is why you register through a provider.
What are the two types of UTI PSA ID?
UTI offers two types: coupon-based and wallet-based. With a coupon-based ID the agent buys coupons and each application uses one. With a wallet-based ID the agent loads a wallet and each application is deducted from the balance. SiOnline provides the wallet-based ID.
Is UTI PSA registration free?
No. PAN card / UTI PSA registration with SiOnline costs ₹1,180. PAN applications are then deducted from your wallet balance.
How do I become a UTI PAN card agent?
Register as a UTI PSA through an authorised provider. You submit PAN, Aadhaar, a photograph and your business details; the file is verified and submitted; you receive your wallet-based PSA ID and log in to the SiOnline portal. SiOnline has registered 3,000+ PSA agents.
How does the wallet work for PAN applications?
You load a balance into your wallet. Each PAN application you submit is deducted from that balance. If the balance is too low, top it up before you file. The official PAN application fees are shown in the table on this page.
Which PAN application forms can I file?
Four types: Form 49A for Indian resident individuals, Form 49AA for foreign citizens, the non-individual application for trusts, firms and companies, and the application for minors under 18. See the table on this page.
Where do I log in once I am registered?
On the SiOnline portal, which is connected to the UTI portal. You do not get direct access to UTI. The login steps and common errors are on the UTI PSA login page.
What equipment do I need?
A computer with internet, a printer and a scanner. PAN applications involve supporting documents that have to be captured and submitted, not just a form filled in.
Can I do this alongside FASTag or IRCTC ticketing?
Yes. They run from the same counter, and a customer who comes in for one frequently asks about the other. See FASTag agent registration for the other counter service most agents add.
How long does PSA registration take?
Once documents are verified and submitted, the timeline is UTIITSL's. We will give you the current turnaround when you enquire rather than publishing a figure that may not hold next month.
Do I need a shop?
You need a business address and a working setup. A retail point with footfall makes the economics far better, because PAN work is a walk-in service.
Can one person hold two PSA IDs?
No. One PAN holds one PSA ID. If you already have one and it has lapsed, that is a renewal conversation rather than a fresh registration.
What happens if my PSA ID lapses?
It stops authenticating, and you will see it as a login failure rather than a clear message. Call +91 91091 35959 and we will check the status against your registered details.
