UTI PSA Login Status: After You Register
How to check your UTI PSA login status after you register: the order of events, how the login reaches you, and how to load the wallet for your first file.
You’ve registered for a UTI PSA ID, and now you’re waiting. Did the login come? Is the ID live? What do you do first? Most of the worry in this stretch comes from not knowing what order things happen in, or what you’re meant to be checking at each point.
A PSA is a PAN Service Agent working with UTIITSL (UTI Infrastructure Technology And Services Limited). A wallet-based PSA ID is one where you load a balance and each PAN application is deducted from it. This guide follows the stages in order and shows how to check each one.
What are the steps after you register?
A UTI PSA ID through SiOnline costs ₹1,180 to register, as of 17 October 2026 (source: SiOnline’s PAN registration page). That page lists six steps, from an eligibility check to loading the wallet:
| Stage | What happens | What you can do |
|---|---|---|
| Enquiry | SiOnline confirms what applies, what it costs and what you need before payment | Ask for the cost and the list in writing |
| Documents | You submit PAN, Aadhaar, a photograph, email, mobile and business details | Keep your email and mobile active |
| Verify and submit | SiOnline checks the file against UTIITSL’s requirements and submits it | No action listed for you |
| ID issued | A wallet-based PSA ID is issued and you log in to the SiOnline portal | Look for your login ID by email and mobile |
| Wallet | You load the wallet, and each PAN application is deducted from it | Load it, then check the number |
| Filing | You file applications | Start with one real file |
One question to ask early: at which step is payment taken, and what receipt will you get? Ask support, and write the answer down.
How does your login reach you?
SiOnline’s current UTI PSA login page says UTIITSL appoints PAN Service Agents through authorised channel partners. That’s why you register through a provider. SiOnline does not issue a PAN or an approval. It gives you a wallet-based UTI PSA ID, and you work through the SiOnline portal, which is connected to the UTI portal. You do not get direct UTI access.
The PAN agent login guide says your login ID is issued when your registration completes and is sent to the email and mobile on your application. It is not your PAN number, so don’t go looking for it in your PAN papers. A lot of people mix the two up.
There’s also a warning in that guide. A UTI page that asks for details you don’t have is the wrong site, and it will not accept your SiOnline credentials. So look at the address bar before you type a password.
Is my PSA ID active yet?
Work through these checks, easiest first. They follow SiOnline’s current UTI PSA login page and PAN agent login guide.
- Look for the login ID in the email address and mobile number on your application. If it’s not there, jump to step 5.
- Open the portal from the UTI PSA login page and check the address bar before typing. If you’re not sure which identifier to enter, ask support.
- Sign in. Complete any OTP step. The guide says the OTP goes to the registered mobile number on your record. If sign-in works, you reach your account, which shows your wallet balance.
- If the password is rejected, check the user ID, then use the forgot-password link. The password reset guide has the sequence.
- If you have no login ID, or sign-in fails and nothing above explains it, call SiOnline with the registered mobile number or email address and ask support to check the ID against your record.
Once you’re in, write down the wallet balance you see. That number is your starting point for every top-up and every deduction after it.
Don’t create a second ID to get around a problem. SiOnline’s UTI PSA login page says one PAN holds one PSA ID.
How do you load the wallet?
Logging in and filing are two different things, according to SiOnline’s current wallet balance guide. Your credentials get you in, and your balance lets you submit. SiOnline provides the wallet-based ID only. UTI also offers coupon-based IDs, but a wallet-based ID has no coupons to buy.
- Check the balance first. Then add to it the way the wallet guide describes. SiOnline’s guide on submitting a payment deposit request covers the reference number and what to do when a deposit doesn’t appear.
- Keep the transaction reference, not just a screenshot of the amount, and confirm the balance updated.
- If a payment left your bank account but the balance didn’t move, contact support with the transaction reference.
Ask in writing for the minimum wallet balance for PAN work and the amount deducted per application. Don’t guess either one.
What about your first application?
Form 93 (earlier Form 49A) is the PAN application for an individual who is a citizen of India (UTIITSL’s General FAQs on the new forms, 17 October 2026). The same FAQs list Forms 94, 95 and 96 for other applicants. The Income Tax Department’s e-Filing FAQ, checked on 17 October 2026, says new PAN applications filed on or after 1 April 2026 use the new forms. Check the applicant type, and confirm the right form on the current UTIITSL list. If you want a plainer walk-through of the numbers, read PAN forms 93 to 96 explained.
As of 17 October 2026, UTIITSL’s document checklist lists the proof of identity, address and date of birth the application needs. For who needs what, see new PAN documents by applicant type.
As of 17 October 2026, UTIITSL’s home page lists ₹107 for a physical card plus e-PAN and ₹72 for an e-PAN only, and its General FAQs list ₹66 for an e-PAN submitted online through paperless modes. Confirm the current fee on the official UTIITSL or Income Tax Department page. Ask what is deducted from your wallet per application, and don’t assume it equals those fees.
Keep the acknowledgement or reference number for every file. UTIITSL’s General FAQs say an applicant can track status with that number on the designated portal. Our guide on tracking a PAN application has more on this.
How long does it take?
SiOnline’s PAN registration page says that once documents are verified and submitted, the timeline is UTIITSL’s, and that SiOnline will give the current turnaround when you enquire. So don’t trust a number you saw somewhere else. Ask in writing what the current turnaround is, who gives that figure and what counts as the day the clock starts. Then keep your own dates.
What should you keep a record of?
A small notebook or a phone note is enough. Write the date next to each of these as it happens:
- the date you paid and the receipt you got,
- the date you submitted your documents,
- the date the login ID reached you, and by which route (email or mobile),
- every wallet top-up, with its transaction reference,
- the acknowledgement or reference number for each PAN file.
If something goes wrong later, these dates are what let support find your case quickly. They also let you compare what you were told about turnaround with what really happened.
What should you ask support in writing?
Put these questions in one message, so the answers sit together:
- At which step is payment taken, and what receipt will I get?
- What is the current turnaround for the ID, who gives that figure, and what counts as the day it starts?
- What is the minimum wallet balance for PAN work?
- What is deducted from the wallet per application?
- Which form applies to the applicants I expect to serve?
Keep the reply. If an answer is vague, ask again in plainer words, and don’t pay or file until you understand it.
An example: you’ve heard nothing yet
Say you’ve sent your documents and a while has passed without any message. Don’t panic, and don’t register again. Look at the email address and mobile number you gave on the application, because that’s where the login ID is sent. Check spam folders too. If you find nothing, call support and give them your registered mobile number or email, so they can check the ID against your record. If you do find a login ID, open the portal from the UTI PSA login page and work through the checks above. This is only an example of the order to follow. It doesn’t say how long any step takes.
A few mistakes to avoid in the first week
- Hunting for your PAN number as the login. The login ID is a separate thing that comes to your email and mobile.
- Typing your password into a page you reached from a search result. Go in from the UTI PSA login page and read the address bar.
- Making a second ID because the first one isn’t working. One PAN holds one PSA ID.
- Treating the government fee as your wallet deduction. Those can be two different numbers. Ask.
- Sending a password or OTP to anyone who offers to help. SiOnline’s UTI PSA login page says SiOnline never asks for your password.
- Starting with a big pile of files. Start with one real file, keep its reference number, and see how it goes.
If the login does not arrive
If you’ve done steps 1 and 5 above and still have nothing, contact SiOnline support: 24 hours, 7 days, by phone and WhatsApp on +91 91091 35959. Give your login ID if you have it, the registered mobile number and a plain description of what the screen says. Keep the message short and factual: what you did, what the screen says, and what you need from them. Never send a password or an OTP.
Questions agents ask
How long does a PSA ID take to activate?
SiOnline’s PAN registration page gives no duration. After verification the timeline is UTIITSL’s, so ask SiOnline for the current turnaround.
Can I log in on UTI’s own site?
No. According to SiOnline’s UTI PSA login page, you work through the SiOnline portal, which is connected to the UTI portal, and you do not get direct UTI access.
Do I need to buy coupons?
No. SiOnline provides the wallet-based ID. You load the wallet, and each PAN application is deducted from the balance.
Is my login ID the same as my PAN number?
No. The login ID is issued when your registration completes, and it’s sent to the email and mobile on your application.
If you haven’t registered yet, the PAN registration page takes your enquiry.
