What you earn

Fixed by class, charged per PNR.

The agent charge is set by class, not negotiated. It is charged per PNR, not per passenger — a four-passenger AC booking earns the same ₹40 as a single seat. It is printed on the ticket and you collect it from the customer. IRCTC does not allow any extra charge on top.

We do not share payment-gateway charges with agents. Some providers do. We would rather you knew that now.

AC classes ₹40 per PNR · 1A / 2A / 3A / CC / EC
Non-AC classes ₹20 per PNR · SL / 2S
How it works

Seven steps — and we check you are eligible before you pay.

The registration fee is non-refundable, so we run an eligibility check before any money changes hands. You can pay in two instalments, and your agent ID is created only after 100% payment.

  1. 01

    Check you are eligible

18+, a PAN not already on a personal IRCTC ID, and an Aadhaar linked to your mobile.

  2. 02

    Send us your enquiry

Call, WhatsApp or the form. We run an eligibility check on your PAN, mobile number and email before you pay anything.

  3. 03

    Submit your documents

PAN, Aadhaar, photograph, address proof and your shop or business details.

  4. 04

    We verify

We check every document against IRCTC’s requirements so the application is not rejected.

  5. 05

    Pay the registration fee

₹3,000 incl. GST, non-refundable. The first instalment is due after your eligibility check passes, the second when document verification completes.

  6. 06

    KYC and activation

Your agent ID is created only after 100% payment. You receive OTP login (Class 3 DSC is optional) and your authorisation letter.

  7. 07

    Start booking

Log in to the agent interface and book e-tickets from your own counter.

Questions

Straight answers, including the awkward ones.

Is SiOnline really authorised by IRCTC?

Yes, and you can check it yourself in about ten seconds. “M/s SI Online Technomart Pvt. Ltd., Ratlam” is listed in IRCTC’s official Authorised Service Providers document under the Internet Cafe Scheme (ICS), at page 6, row 27. The document is published by IRCTC, not by us.

What does IRCTC agent registration cost?

₹3,000 incl. GST for the Standard plan and ₹4,000 incl. GST for Premium. The fee is non-refundable, so we check your eligibility before asking you to pay. The ₹3,000 is for OTP login; Class 3 DSC login is optional at ₹6,000 incl. GST for 2 years. Renewal is ₹2,360 a year for the agent ID and ₹1,180 a year for OTP login.

How much does an IRCTC agent earn per ticket?

The agent charge is fixed: ₹40 on AC classes and ₹20 on non-AC classes, per PNR — not per passenger. It is printed on the ticket and you collect it from the customer. IRCTC does not allow any extra charge on top. SiOnline pays no commission and does not share payment-gateway charges with agents, and we would rather say so than let you find out later.

Can agents book Tatkal tickets?

Yes, after a 30-minute window. Under the Ministry of Railways circular, agents are blocked from 10:00–10:30 AM on AC classes and from 11:00–11:30 AM on non-AC classes, so you can book AC classes from 10:30 AM and non-AC from 11:30 AM.

Is there a monthly limit on how many tickets I can book?

There is no monthly cap on the agent ID, unlike a personal IRCTC login. Bookings remain subject to IRCTC’s rules, including the Tatkal per-train limit and the 30-minute agent block.

How long does it take to get the agent ID?

Once your documents are verified and the fee is paid, the application goes to IRCTC for KYC and activation. We will tell you the current turnaround when you enquire rather than promise a number here.

What do I need before I apply?

A PAN card that is not already registered on a personal IRCTC ID, an Aadhaar linked to your mobile number for OTP, a photograph, address proof, and a unique mobile number and email address that are not already on an IRCTC account.

What other services can I sell from the same login?

IRCTC ticketing, IRCTC tourism packages, FASTag, UTI PAN card applications, BBPS bill payments and mobile or DTH recharge — all from a single wallet balance.

Ready to start booking on your own agent ID?

Tell us what you want to sell and we will tell you what applies to your case — before you pay anything.
