Why agents add it

The four stages, and where things actually stall.

Knowing which stage you are at tells you whether to wait or to act. Most people wait when they should act.

01 · Document verification

We check every document against IRCTC’s current requirements. Most delays happen here, and nearly all of them are one document that does not match. This stage is the one you can influence.

02 · Submission

The verified file goes to IRCTC. Once submitted, the pace is no longer ours to set.

03 · KYC at IRCTC

IRCTC completes its own checks. Nothing on your side or ours moves this faster, and providers who claim otherwise are describing something that does not exist.

04 · Activation

The agent ID is issued, along with your digital signature or OTP login and your authorisation letter.

How to check where your application is.

There is no self-service application tracker on this website. Contact support on the number above, by WhatsApp or by email with your registered mobile number, and the team will tell you the stage your application has reached.

Do not send an OTP or a password in an enquiry form, a message or an email. The team does not need one to look up your application.

Questions about applications in progress.

How do I check my IRCTC agent application status?

Call or WhatsApp +91 91091 35959 with your registered mobile number, or email help@sionline.co.in, and the team will tell you which stage your application is at. How to check your application status lists every way to reach us. Never send an OTP through an enquiry form.

How long does IRCTC agent registration take?

Verification is quick at our end. After submission the timeline is IRCTC's KYC and activation process. We give you the current turnaround when you enquire rather than publishing a number that may not hold next month.

What are the stages an application goes through?

Document verification, submission, KYC at IRCTC, then activation and issue of the agent ID. Most delays happen at verification, and nearly all of those are a document that does not match the requirement.

My application seems stuck. What now?

Call us with the registered mobile number rather than waiting. A file sitting still usually needs one specific thing, and it will not move until somebody supplies it. Support runs 24 hours, 7 days.

Can my application be rejected?

It can, which is why we run an eligibility check before you pay anything. The common causes are a PAN already registered on a personal IRCTC account, or a mobile number or email already attached to one.

Is the fee refunded if the application is rejected?

The registration fee is non-refundable, which is exactly why we check your eligibility first. The first instalment is due after that check passes, the second when document verification completes, and the agent ID is created only after 100% payment.

Where is the IRCTC agent application form?

You do not file the form yourself — the application goes through your Principal Service Provider. We collect what is needed and submit it. See how registration works.

What happens once it is approved?

You receive the agent ID, your Class 3 digital signature or OTP login, and your authorisation letter. The agent login page covers signing in for the first time and the errors that catch people out on day one.

Waiting on an application?

Call +91 91091 35959 with the registered mobile number. We will tell you which stage it is at and what, if anything, it is waiting on.
