The fee is non-refundable, which is why we check your eligibility before you pay anything. The first instalment is due after that check passes, the second when document verification completes, and your agent ID is created only after 100% payment.

How to compare an agent registration fee properly.
The headline number is the easiest thing to compare and the least useful on its own. Four things change what you actually pay over a year.
- Is the provider authorised? Check the register before the price. An unauthorised reseller is not cheaper, it is a different risk entirely.
- What recurs? A lower joining fee with higher renewals or monthly charges costs more from year two.
- Is a payment-gateway share included? Some providers pass part of it back to agents. We do not — and that is a legitimate reason to compare.
- What does support actually mean? Ours runs 24 hours, 7 days. Ask any provider what happens at 2am on a Tatkal morning.
CSC charges far less than we do
CSC is a Government of India initiative and prices agent registration accordingly. It is a different product with a different support model — not a cheaper version of this one.
If the registration fee is the only factor in your decision, CSC is the honest answer. We compete on turnaround, support and the range of services on one login, not on being the cheapest entry in the market.
What you earn per booking.
Your charge is fixed by class and applies per PNR, not per passenger. It is printed on the ticket and you collect it from the customer. SiOnline pays no commission. We publish the rate rather than an income figure, because what it adds up to depends entirely on your volume, and any provider quoting you a monthly income is guessing.

What are the IRCTC agent registration fees in 2026?
₹3,000 incl. GST for the Standard plan and ₹4,000 incl. GST for Premium. Both are one-off registration charges. Renewal is ₹2,360 a year for the agent ID and ₹1,180 a year for OTP login.
Is the registration fee refundable?
No, the registration fee is non-refundable. That is why we run an eligibility check on your PAN, mobile number and email before asking you to pay anything. The first instalment is due only after that check passes.
Why is CSC cheaper?
CSC is a Government of India initiative and its agent registration is priced accordingly. It is a different product with a different support model, not a cheaper version of the same thing. If price alone is the deciding factor, CSC is the honest answer and we would rather say so.
Are there hidden charges after registration?
No. Every recurring charge is listed above. There are three separate ones: the agent ID renewal of ₹2,360 a year, the OTP login renewal of ₹1,180 a year, and monthly maintenance of ₹236 a month. The monthly maintenance does not replace the renewals. Wallet top-ups are free up to your defined daily limit and ₹100 per transaction after that. If you chose DSC login, there is also the DSC renewal of ₹6,000 incl. GST every 2 years. The minimum wallet balance is held, not charged.
Do I pay IRCTC or SiOnline?
You pay SiOnline. We are an authorised Principal Service Provider and the registration runs through us — IRCTC does not take agent registrations directly.
What does the fee actually buy?
Document verification, submission of your application to IRCTC, your agent ID on activation, OTP login, your authorisation letter, and access to support. Class 3 DSC login is optional and priced separately.
What is the difference between Standard and Premium?
Both give you a working IRCTC agent ID. Apart from IRCTC, Premium (₹4,000) adds IRCTC tourism services, FASTag, bill payments, PAN card and more. Call us and we will explain it.
How much can I earn to offset the fee?
Your charge is fixed: ₹40 on AC classes and ₹20 on non-AC, per PNR. It is printed on the ticket and you collect it from the customer. What that adds up to depends entirely on your booking volume, which is why we publish the rate rather than an income figure. See the agent charge page.
Do you share payment-gateway charges with agents?
No. Some providers do, and if that matters to you it is a fair reason to compare. We would rather state it here than have you discover it later.
Can I pay in instalments?
