The IRCTC Principal Service Provider list
IRCTC publishes the companies it has authorised to appoint railway ticketing agents. Here is where that document is, how to read it, and how to check any provider — including us — in under a minute.
Check ours first. That is the point of the page.
We publish our page and row number so you do not have to take our word for anything. Open IRCTC's document, go to page 6, and read row 27.

IRCTC does not register agents. It authorises providers who do.
This single fact explains why you cannot apply to IRCTC directly, and why the register matters more than any claim on a provider's homepage.
- 1IRCTCIndian Railways' ticketing arm. Authorises providers; does not onboard agents.
- 2Principal Service ProviderAppointed by IRCTC and named on the public register. SiOnline is one.
- 3You, the agentRegistered through a PSP. IRCTC issues the agent ID in your business name.
- 4Your customersBook through you and receive a genuine IRCTC e-ticket.
How to verify any provider.
This works for us and for everyone else. It takes about a minute and it is the single most useful thing you can do before paying a registration fee.
Open IRCTC’s own document
Follow the process below. Select a number to explore a step.
-
Open IRCTC’s own document
The list lives on contents.irctc.co.in — IRCTC’s domain, not a provider’s. If a company sends you a screenshot instead of a link, open the document yourself.
-
Find the scheme heading
Providers are grouped by scheme. SiOnline is under Internet Cafe Scheme (ICS), which is the category covering internet-café and retail ticketing agents.
-
Match the legal entity name
Not the brand name. Ours reads “M/s SI Online Technomart Pvt. Ltd., Ratlam” — the registered company, with its city. A brand that does not appear as a legal entity is a reseller, not a PSP.
-
Check the contact details
The register lists an email and phone against each provider. If those do not match what the company publishes, ask why before you pay anything.
Six things that should stop you paying.
None of these prove bad faith on their own. All of them are worth a direct question before money changes hands.
- They cannot tell you their page and row number on the register
- They send a screenshot rather than a link to IRCTC’s document
- The name they trade under appears nowhere in the register as a legal entity
- They ask for your IRCTC password, at any point, for any reason
- They promise Tatkal access without the 30-minute agent block
- They quote a guaranteed monthly income
Questions about IRCTC Principal Service Providers.
What is an IRCTC Principal Service Provider?
A PSP is a company IRCTC has authorised to appoint railway ticketing agents. IRCTC does not register agents directly — it authorises providers, and those providers onboard agents. Anyone selling you an agent ID is either a PSP or is reselling one.
Where is the official list of IRCTC PSPs?
IRCTC publishes it at contents.irctc.co.in as “IRCTC Authorized Service Providers (Agents)”. It is a public document on IRCTC's own domain.
Is SiOnline on the list?
Yes — page 6, row 27, listed as “M/s SI Online Technomart Pvt. Ltd., Ratlam” under the Internet Cafe Scheme (ICS). We publish the page and row number precisely so you can check rather than trust.
How do I verify any provider, not just SiOnline?
Open the document, find the scheme, and match the legal entity name — not the brand. If the company trades as one name but is registered as another, ask them to show you which row is theirs.
What is the Internet Cafe Scheme?
It is the IRCTC scheme covering agents who book e-tickets for walk-in customers from a retail counter or internet café. It is the category most shop-based ticketing agents fall under.
Does being on the register guarantee good service?
No. It establishes that a provider is authorised, which is the floor rather than the ceiling. Turnaround, support hours and what happens when a booking fails are separate questions worth asking.
Can I register directly with IRCTC and skip the PSP?
No. Agent registration runs through authorised providers by design. A personal IRCTC account is a different thing and carries a monthly booking cap.
What if a provider is not on the list?
Then they are not a Principal Service Provider. They may be reselling another PSP's registrations, which is not automatically improper — but you should know whose agent ID you are actually buying, and who you will deal with when something goes wrong.
