Become a SiOnline retailer
Most of this site is written for someone who wants one particular agent ID. This page is for the other reader: you already have a counter and customers walking past it, and you want to know what is worth adding.

Why one account beats five registrations.
The services themselves are available from plenty of people. The reason to run them together is what happens to your counter, not what happens to any one service.
One balance, not five floats
Ticketing, recharge, bills, PAN and FASTag draw on the same wallet. Funding one balance instead of five is a real operational difference.
Each service feeds the others
The customer paying an electricity bill is standing at a counter that also books tickets. Footfall from one service is free traffic for the rest.
Something recurring, something high-value
Bills and recharges bring people back monthly. Ticketing and PAN earn more per transaction. A counter wants both.
One number to ring
When something breaks you call us, not five different helpdesks. 24 hours, 7 days.
Add without re-registering
Switching on a new service later is a conversation, not a fresh application from nothing.
An authorised chain behind you
SiOnline has been an IRCTC-authorised Principal Service Provider since 2018 — you can check that on IRCTC's own register.
How retailer onboarding works.
We would rather you start with two services that suit your location than five that do not.
Tell us about your counter
Follow the process below. Select a number to explore a step.
-
Tell us about your counter
Where it is, what you sell now, roughly how many people come through a day. This decides everything that follows.
-
We suggest a starting set
Usually two or three services rather than everything. A counter that does two things well earns more than one doing six badly.
-
You see the numbers
Per-service costs and per-transaction rates, worked through against your own volume — not a marketing example.
-
Documents and verification
PAN, Aadhaar, photograph, address proof, bank account. We check everything before anyone pays for anything.
-
Payment for what you chosePayment
Only for the services you switched on.
-
Setup and a walkthrough
Logins, wallet funding, and someone talking you through the first few transactions.
-
Add more when you are ready
Not before. The commonest mistake retailers make is switching on everything in week one.
What you need to start.
Less than most people expect. The hardest requirement is the one nobody lists: a location people already walk past.
- A counter or shop
- With footfall. This is the real requirement
- Computer or smartphone
- Either is enough for most services
- Internet
- Reliable enough to confirm a transaction while someone waits
- Printer
- Customers want a receipt they can hold
- PAN and Aadhaar
- Yours, as the applicant
- Bank account
- Settlements and commission go to it
- Wallet balance
- ₹199 minimum — held, not charged
What we will tell you that a sales pitch will not.
Three things, because they decide whether this works for you.
Footfall is the whole business. Every service on this page converts people who were already walking past. If your location has no passing trade, adding services will not create it, and we would rather say that on the phone than after you have paid.
Start narrow. Retailers who switch on six services in week one usually run all six badly and blame the platform. Two services, learned properly, then add.
The recurring services matter more than the glamorous ones. A ₹20 bill payment that happens every month beats a high-value transaction that happens once, because it builds a habit around your counter.
Questions shop owners ask.
What is a SiOnline retailer?
A shop or counter running several of our services on one login and one wallet balance — ticketing, recharge, bill payments, PAN, FASTag — rather than registering separately for each. There are 10,000+ retailers on the network.
Do I need an existing shop?
It works far better if you have one. Every service here depends on walk-in footfall, so a counter that already gets visitors is the asset. Without one you are building two businesses at once.
Which services should I start with?
Usually recharge and bill payments, because they are cheap to start and bring people back monthly, then ticketing or PAN once the counter has a rhythm. We will suggest an order based on where you are rather than sell you everything at once.
Can I add services later?
Yes, and most retailers do. That is the point of one account — you are not repeating a registration process each time.
What does it cost to become a retailer?
It depends which services you switch on. IRCTC agent registration is a published ₹3,000 incl. GST; others are quoted on enquiry because they depend on the bank or partner involved. See pricing.
Is there a monthly fee?
Monthly maintenance charges depend on your ID category; for an IRCTC agent ID it is ₹236 per month. You also pay to register for what you choose, renew where that applies, and hold a minimum wallet balance of ₹199 — which is your money, not a charge.
How much can I earn?
We will not put a monthly figure on this page, because it depends entirely on your footfall. We publish per-transaction rates where we have them — IRCTC commission, for instance, is on its own page — and will work through the arithmetic with you using your own numbers.
Do I need staff?
Not to start. One person can run a counter. Staff become a question when your volume makes queueing a problem, which is a good problem.
What equipment do I need?
A computer or smartphone, reliable internet and a printer covers most services. Biometric devices are only needed for Aadhaar-based services, and a dongle only if you use a digital signature for ticketing.
What support do I get?
24 hours, 7 days, by phone and WhatsApp on +91 91091 35959. AI-assisted round the clock, with the team on hand during business hours. That matters more than it sounds when a customer is standing in front of you.
